We went for a friend’s birthday dinner and at first I was a bit thrown off by the name but Resurrection did not disappoint! They had a beautiful interior and drinks were cleverly named and presented. Bar manager was very knowledgeable about all drinks and imported whiskeys. Food was incredible. Served family style and with large portions. Dumplings and fried radish cake were the best. For drinks I had godless and Lilith, both were great. Would recommend for late night drinks, a good a filling dinner, and a good time!

Great little spot in Etobicoke. The cocktails are inventive, I've seen the Lucky Strike cocktail mentioned in a few other reviews and it is a must try. The dishes range from little twists to classics to wild over-achievers (the garlic rice and the truffle butter udon!). It's amazing how much they do with such lean staffing - they don't need to do so much but they do, this place runs on pure passion. Thank you Connor for the lovely service, food, and drinks! This place is a gem and you've made some new fans.

Came for winterlicious and will definitely be back. Chow lo back go is so delicious and braise pork bao was amazing. Service was warm and welcoming and the small space is dark and modern while being lite up by the living plant wall. Also have a happy hour menu that looked well priced and yummy

Finally! An amazing spot for cocktails and delicious food in our area! Resurrection is our new favourite spot in Etobicoke hands down. First, the cocktails: Incredibly inventive and unique. They are complex and have a wide variety, and the Japanese whiskeys are so good. We have not come for a flight yet, but that is next on our list. This is a perfect spot to take friends to show off a cool spot in your area. The food: Having been to Japan, you can tell that the same care and skill goes into the food here. Portions are perfect and the flavours are so perfectly balanced. We adored the dim sum, popcorn chicken and the salted egg bao. Service has always been great for us. Our waiter even called back when he noticed we booked a reservation at the wrong time, and another he went above and beyond when he heard it was my birthday. One thing to keep in mind: this is a small establishment with a small staff! This may mean that if the place is packed, wait times are longer. I do not think this is unreasonable as this is a local family run establishment and there is one server waiting tables, making cocktails and cleaning. If you go during a busy time, just be ready to take some time - they have fabulous cocktails you can sip on while you wait. Be patient - from our experience the food is more than worth it. Planning to be regulars here for sure!

Some of the best food and drink I've ever had in Toronto! Came to this unassuming spot for a night out and was genuinely impressed by the quality of the food, drinks, and service. First the food -- the Resurrection offers a variety of dim sum dishes that all seem to be executed perfectly. I had some pork and water chestnut dumplings that were so juicy and full of flavour. The fish balls in curry sauce though were spectacular. Such an interesting dish and incredibly tasty curry. They offer both high quality Japanese whiskeys as well as well crafted and inventive cocktails. Whether you're their to enjoy a smokey oaky Yamazaki or a fresh and sweet drink, they have something for everyone. The service was also very friendly and helpful. As someone unfamiliar with Japanese whiskeys, I ordered a flight and was guided through the experience, explaining how to best enjoy and what flavours to look for. Can't wait to go back!

Toronto's hidden gem and surely the next big spot. The restaurant has a great ambiance and modern decor to relax and have a good time. I had the chance to be the owner and chef who design the menu - lovely people. The chef took the time to bring the dishes out and explained the thought before each dish and its pairing.( all the flavors were complimentary to each). The drink menu, shines equally as the food menu, has a good cocktail options and whiskey options. Once again it's the fusion of taste and concept: restaurant, cocktail bar and whiskey bar. Perfect spot to go just for drinks or food for all ages.

Fine dining without the fine dining price tag. The young man is a real mixologist. Try the Carnage drink. Every bite of food was a signature flavor you won't find elsewhere. We were pleasantly surprised because we ordered quite a bit of food for 2 people and it remained under 100.
